Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

This printer is a couple of weeks old. Almost every time we try to print, we get an error message prompting us to "Load Paper". The paper in Tray 1 is full. Removing it and re-adding it has no effect. Adding paper to the manual feed tray has no effect. Repeated efforts seem to resolve and the print job completes successfully...Until the next time that we need to print.

To be sure:

1. I know how to load paper into the printer, so please don't tell me how to do that or that I need to do that. It's full of paper. FULL

2. I have upgraded the firmware on the printer.

3. I have checked for any paper jams, scraps or any other sign of problems.

Hi @EthanielYooper

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "Load Paper" message.

Appreciate you trying the steps. Have you tried these steps as well? If you have, I have sent you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
