HP Laserjet Pro MFP M 125
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello

I own HP laserJet Pro and it had been working while on wi-fi when my wi fi network was single band. I recently moved to dual band and my router TP-LInk broadcasts at 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz. I have set up my printer and it is connected to 2.4Ghz and it even displays the IP Address.

When i connect my laptop to the same network ( 2.4 Ghz) i am unable to see the printer. I have tried everything i can even re-installing the printer driver on computer but no lock. I have also made sure the IP address is always same with the printer but still no luck.

Any help highly appreciated.

Also if you can help me set up airprint option from where i can print from any mobile device that would be awesome.

Thanks

Kiran

Do you have different SSIDs for the 5 and 2.4 Ghz bands on your router. If not, the printer may be connecting to the 5 Ghz band intermittently and not able to communicate properly on the higher bandwidth channel.

Hello

Yes i have different SSID for both

SSID 1 - Geek1

SSID2 - Geek 5G

Printer is connected to Geek1 and also displays the ip address.  When i switch my laptop to Geek1 the printer shows offline. When i try to re-install printer, The laptop is unable to find the printer even though both are connected to same network.

Thank you for your response.

Hi,

Print and evaluate a Wireless Network Test Report, be sure to check the Troubleshooting section for any alert or attention information:

The configuration report shows everything is fine, I still am unable to find printer when connected to same network.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks

Hi,

I were referring to a Wireless Network Test Report, not to a Configuration Page, please see the relevant section in the document about printing the specific report.

Apologies.  This got buried under other to-do list. I got the wireless test printed out and every thing looks ok. I am still unable to find the printer  from laptop if i am connected to the same SSID which the printer is connected to .

Screen shot of the test report .

Unable to add screen shot as i keep getting rejected message. I have only cropped the section which says all tests are fine and even then unable to share the results.
