HP Laserjet Pro MFP M176n
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Having difficulty trying to get this printer set up on a wireless network. There seems to be very limited help available for configuring the printer using the options available in the on printer screen.

Once you connected the cable to your router, insert and launch the Setup.exe fle from the printer installation CD or download the latest software from the HP site.

If the software was already installed select Add another device and follow the steps, then select a network connection once you are asked how you connect the printer.

If you haven't install its software yet the follow teh installation wizard till you saked how to connect the printer and select "Through the Network".

If required, you may download the software for the printer below:

Hi,

The HP Laserjet Pro MFP M176n is not a wireless printer, it support USB or wired ethernet connection toy your network.

In order to install it on the network plug an eternet cable from the printer to your router, then install the software by selecting a Network connection.

Not sure what you mean by "install the software by selecting a network connection"?

My problem is trying to connect the printer itself wirelessly.

The router is in one location and the printer in another. So I need to be able to access to the router wirelessly

to get a wireless address, not a LAN network address.

The wireless network has a password.

I tried auto connecting wirelessly to the printer in the installation but I knew it won't because the printer itself is not yet on the wireless network.

Any advice?

Did you get the printer to work wirelessly?
