Hello,
Printer worked perfect for a year.
Short time ago I noticed that not able to print PDF files from MAC. At the same time I can print DOC/TXT etc files. Only PDF does not work (before it worked). Error: Unable to print file corrput. Or job is sent, printer start to make noise (as it should) and stops wihtout any message.
Printer is conencted with Ethernet (AirPrint secured).
What I tried:
- restart printer / rounter / computer
- updated HP utilities and firmware
- removed / added the printer in the preferances .
- tried to use 'local driver' instead of airprint (no error , but just nothing is printed)
- reset printing system (in Preferences)
nothing helped. What else to try ?

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!
Printing the PDF file as an image may resolve the issue. You may use the steps available in this document to print the PDF file as an image.
Let me know how it goes!

Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, printing as an image works, but:
- this option is available only in Adobe Acrobat
- no way to use it from MAC Preview and few other apps, like PDF Expert so on...
- Still, believe that it should work from any app as before.
Could you say if it is known issue and if there is any work on solytion? When to expect it?
Best Regards,
Aleksey

Since you have already tried updating the printer firmware, the only possible solution that I could think of is updating the software on Mac and setting up the printer with Apple AirPrint. Let's try these steps:
1.) Use the steps available here to update the software on Mac.
2.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
3.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign
to delete the printer.
4.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button at the bottom of the list.
5.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.
6.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint or Secure AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.
7.) Try to print.
