Hello Team
May you guidance me how do I change the the hostname in a printer HP Color LaserJet MFP M277dw from the web page please?
Basically I'm not able to do that! Because when I enter the new hostname and click on apply button nothing happens and the defaults values still remains there!
I will appreciate your comments and advice

Hostname should be a configurable option for the M277.
You have to sign into the EWS (Embedded Web Server) as the admin account and navigate back to the Networking tab. One of the options for Network Identification should be the hostname.
If your custom hostnames are not applying then your printer may need a reset to get it working again. If so then apply a Cold Reset and reconfigure the printer for network connectivity. Any temporary restrictions that would block you from updating the hostname should get wiped out with a cold reset.

Look up the IP address of the printer. This can be done by printing off a configuration report from the control panel of the printer.
Once you know the IP then enter the IP address into a web browser.
By default the admin account should not have a password and should allow you to proceed to the networking tab. If the password is enabled and you do not know what it is then you will have to reset the printer with a Cold Reset to set it back to the defaults.

Hello Team how are you?
The poing is I could enter in to Printer Web Page through Printer IP address, successfully! However I was not able to update the hostname and DNS information. Because when I click on apply button, then the page still showed me defaults values, example:
Hostname NPI3D23CC
DNS fields remained in blank

Proceed to cold reset the pritner with the steps I provided earlier. After the cold reset is complete attempt to reconfigure the printer and its hostname again.
