Installed a new Image Transfer Belt and the image counter didn't reset. Have unplugged the 'connection' in side. Turned off printer... all the things. Light still blinks red and the Supplies Information sheet is telling me I have 10% life remaining with 18000 images of 20000.
TIA
Dana

Did you have the printer off when you installed it in the first place? Many of these devices use a fusible link that will only reset one time. It is possible that the belt had a faulty fusible link, I would contact HP technical support and discuss with them. If they deem it faulty there is a six month warranty on transfer belts and they should replace it or take it back to the vendor you bought it from.

well, I bought the image transfer belt on the big A - and it's not HP. Always a risk, I know.
The Samsung Printer Experience is just that. You get to experience that you can only look at settings but not do anything with them. The HP Printer diagnostic doesn't work because it only detects HP products....... The printer doesn't have a 'screen' on it to access any sort of menu..
At a loss. I've contacted the belt seller to see if he has a clue.
Thank you.

Hey there - so I returned the image transfer belt I bought on Amazon and ordered one from Neqtiq and it's giving me the same message - blinking red light and the 'report' says I have 9% life remaining.
If I can't get this to work, I'm gonna have to ditch the whole danged printer.
I've emailed the company but wanted to reach out here again.
Thanks in advance
Dana
