Before Windows 10 I could print multiple copies with no problem. Now with Windows 10 all I can print is 1 copy no matter what I do to various settings. Now the Mopier mode is grayed out along with various other functions within printer properties dialog box. Am I missing something simple?

I've no idea why this should be the case.
Seems to be more like a Windows permissions problem, rather than a printer or printer driver issue.
... and are you confirming that the "grayed out" value for Mopier Mode is currently set to Enabled?
Check what your effective permissions are; you'd need 'Manage this printer' access; this example shows my (non-admin) user does not have this access (hence all of the "device settings" values are grayed out when viewed whilst logged-in to this user.

I would disconnect the printer, download the current driver from HP.com, delete the installed driver, then load the new driver.
Reconnect the printer when the installation program asks or after it finishes.

At the risk of sounding uninformed, what is "delete the indole divert"? I will try your suggestion once I understand your content. Thank you for replying.

So is the "grayed out" Mopier Mode value set to Enabled or Disabled? You need it set to the latter value.
If you can't change the setting (because it is "grayed out"), this may be because you are not logged in with administrative credentials?
See http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Issues-Troubleshooting/printing-multiple-copies/m-p/4903265 for a similar problem (albeit with LaserJet 1320 and Windows 8.1).

I do have administrative credentials. I can see what I need to do in the printer properties but can not perform the appropriate function because almost 90% of the functions are "grayed out".

I've no idea why this should be the case.

Check what your effective permissions are; you'd need 'Manage this printer' access; this example shows my (non-admin) user does not have this access (hence all of the "device settings" values are grayed out when viewed whilst logged-in to this user.

Success!! Once I got to the "View effective access" tab nothing was listed. I had to search for each user and then once the users were listed I had to edit each user and check the appropriate boxes. Once that was accomplished, then all of the functions in the "Device Tab" of my "printer properties" dialog box changed from Gray to Black. I was then able to disable the Mopier Mode. I can now print as many multiple copies as I want. Thank you very much for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

tell me if i need to dig in my garage for the original cd to make it work. i'm not familiar with "mopier mode" as I cannot find it anywhere.
i'm not even sure i am asking the question throught the right thead. someone help!
