Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

The Password from our Wifi has changed, the SSID is still the same.

I need to bring the Printer back to the Wifi.

I connected a Computer via USB, installed the drivrpackage (Win10 64bit) and i can print from that computer. If i try to transfer the Wifi via USB to the printer the software is not finding any of the Wifis around here. Entering the SSID via the second options fails because the printer is not finding any wifi.

So i need to reset the printer to be sure that he is in the mode to connect to a new wifi instead of trying to connect to the old one.

Green Powerbutton is blinking and blue wifi button is blinking.

@Squaracas

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I understand the printer software is not able to detect your home wireless network during the setup and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:

Are other devices able to detect your home WiFi network?

Is the computer connected to your home WiFi?

Do you have SSID Broadcast disabled on your WiFi router?

Let me know!

Hello,

  • other devices are able to scan the local Wifi.
  • SSID Boardcast is enabled
  • The Windows PC is connected via LAN to the router

i tried the setup with a Macbook, connected via Wifi, and during the setup with HP Easy Start (OSX10.13) it recognizes the printer via USB but can not complete the setup. I get the result that the software can not communicate with the printer via USB. Even restarting the printer did not help, there the Software is in a loop. Printing on both Computer via USB is possible.

Hi there,

If you visit https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-pro-m102-printer-series/9365392/model/9365394/manua... , you will find a page to download the Manual Guide for your printer. Click the User Guide and check page 83. Lets see whether it works or not.

I hope your problems solved soon.

Hi,

unfortunately this solution is not working. My printer has no display, i have only 3 buttons  (on, wifi, cancel/nextpaper).

I checked the Manual on https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-pro-m102-printer-series/9365392/model/9365394/manua...

but there they do not have anything on WIndows 10. I uses the Software LJM101-M106_UWL_UWL_Full_WebPack_44.3.2667.exe  and they do not have anything like the HP Device Toolbox. as described on page 73 of the manual.

Hi Belmond,

my problem is that the software described is not for windows 10. I need the HP Toolbox for Windows 10 64bit .

It means that the last thing to do is to find any PC/Laptop that you can borrow that has a Windows 7 on it, installed the appropriate driver and reset your printer.

I hope your problems solved soon.
Best regards,

Bellmond
