Everybody keeps sending leads to software that is for a M1530 and I have M1536dnf MFP and need the ADF Scan portion of the software. There is nothing wrong with the motor because I can see it move when I reboot the printer. Unless there is something wrong with the little paper acknowledging piece that is inthe middle on top of the ADF. Can someone help me?

If you put paper in the ADF you should see "Document Loaded" on the LED panel and when pressing copy all the pages should be got into the ADF and copyed. If it is not acting that way and all the pages just stay at where they are and don't move a bit then you may have problems with it. At the same time if you try to copy/scan from the top of the glass it will work.
It is bacause of that where there is a flat line coming from the formater then passing through the glass and up to the upmost left side of the ADF. The flat line is broken easily get it be replaceed and all should be fine.
There're two dark brown colored flat lines on the top side of the formatter the bigger one is for the scanner(under the glass) and the smaller one is the the one. Change it.

I'm sorry for that.
You need to buy and replace the flat cable which in picture 3 & 4 (they are the same one).
The flat cable is connected from left side of the formatter board going through the box under the glass and pass through the glass (showed in picture 1) then comes to the end of the top rear left most area (showed in picture 2).
You need a service manual and buy that flat cable first.
