Just purchased a M477fnw refurbished. Unit works for scan and print via USB, but when setting up wi-fi it just hangs up on wizard at "Retreving wireless network informaiton." Wireless is working on all other devices. Suggestions anyone?
Thanks!

If you have the option to skip the wizard controlled network setup then try logging into the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) and complete the process that way.
Start by plugging in the printer to the network via an Ethernet cable. This will give your printer a chance to pull an IP address from your home router. Once an IP address is assigned print off a configuration report to confirm which one it is. With the IP address in hand type the IP address into a web browser and review the options to configure wireless network connections. Here you should be able to scan for your home network and enter the credentals to create a wireless profile on teh printer. Once the profile is setup you can disconnect the Ethernet cable, reboot and test the IP address again to confirm the network connection was successful.
After the printer is connected to WiFi then all you have to do is setup a network printer object on your local personal devices and point them to the printers IP address. This process will depend on the personal devices OS but should be fairly straight forward.

Thank you.
I shut the unit down and moved it to within 6 feet of the router. When I restarted the unit it found 3 wifi signals. I was able to input the key to my secure signal. When I moved it back to the office, it seems to still have the signal. Hopefully that will end the issue. I am not sure if the moving or the restart solved it, though...
