My HP Laptop is having issues connecting and printing from my HP Color laserjet Pro printer. I re-downloaded the drivers and it is still not printing. The printer won't show up in the printer selection list at all, I'm not very tech savvy so any instructions on how to fix this issue will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Please confirm your printer model.
A missing printer from your printer selection list suggests that you have uninstalled the printer from the PC. The only way to resolve that problem is to reinstall the HP software.
It sounds like you downloaded the drivers for something. However, you did not confirm that you ran whatever you downloaded. A HP software installation wizard should popup for you once you are going the right direction. Work through the HP software installation wizard and report back any problems that you encounter for more suggestions.
If you cannot get the software wizard to run then describe what you are doing step by step to get to that point. We can review and let you know where you might be making a mistake.
