LaserJet 400 M401DW
iOS

My HP LaserJet M401DW is connected to my network via wired gigabit Ethernet, with IP 192.168.2.11. It is on the same subnet (192.168.2.x/24) as my wifi network. The printer has the current 20180318 firmware, and AirPrint shows as enabled in the Network Summary on the printer.

I can print to the printer from Windows devices attached both via WiFi and Ethernet. My iPhone Xs, running 13.3.1, is assigned IP 192.168.2.197 with a 255.255.255.0 subnet mask. I can use the browser on the iPhone to open 192.168.2.11 and see the printer's management UI.

When I try to print using AirPrint, though, it shows as "No AirPrint Printers Found".

Looking for ideas on next troubleshooting steps.

Thanks for the feedback.

Resolved the issue.  My network, by default, was configured to block broadcast delivery between the wired and wireless segments.  AirPrint uses mDNS which is a broadcast protocol.  Once I allowed broadcasts to reach the printer things started to work.

This printer is AirPrint compatible.  Your network specs look good.

All you should need is to turn on Airprint, find the printer and print:

HP has some suggestions and work arounds posted here:

You might need to try out the HP Smart App for this one.
