Solved!

P2035 no duplex/watermark options

HP Recommended
P2035
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently swapped broken P2014 for P2035 taken from another user.

W10 loaded printer when plugged in but printer properties options are very very limited, on previous installation options were there for manual duplex and watermarks but not now.

I tried loading driver from HP site but still no difference ?

Annoyed that I cannot work this out myself

Thanks

Graham

Sounds like a driver problem.

Did you end up loading one of the Microsoft Class Drivers instead of the HP UPD or Model specific driver?  Once you confirm which one is currently loaded then try one of the various alternatives.

This printer should accept any of the UPDs that you have access too.  One driver or another should return the functionality that you are missing assuming it is available on Win10 in the first place.

Indeed it was thank you, took the printer off the PC, reinstalled driver from HP and all is back as it should be, guess the driver W10 loaded was enough to make printer work but not to full functionality.

Thanks for the pointer I needed

Yup that sounds exactly like the Windows Class Driver is designed to do.  Windows wanted to cover all the universally available minimum requirements to use a printer.  All the models specific features and whatnot require a vendor or model specific driver.
