I am trying to print on to letterhead paper.  Tray 2 is used for letterhead paper, the settings on the printer refer to paper size as A4 and the paper type refers to letterhead however when you press print a message appears on the printer to say 'load letterhead or print to next tray (which is our plain paper).  For some reason the printer will not acknowledge the letterhead paper in that tray.   I have changed the settings to any size and any type although nothing prints under this setting. I have also tried to change the settings to A4 plain however the same message appears requesting plain paper be loaded.

Run a config page and see what it says in the size and type paper the printer thinks is in the tray since on this model you have to tell it both size and type.  Now when you go to print and the settings in the driver and on the printer match and you still get a message, please post a photo of exactly what you see on the control panel.  Another way to solve this issue is to make another copy of the printer under devices and printer and call the printer letterhead P3015.  Now go into preference and change tray to be used from automatically select to Tray 2.  Set the type to any which should be the type you have set at the printer and it should work.  Keep in mind tray 2 is the cassette tray directly below the fold down manual tray in front which is tray 1.  Sometimes people get confused and assume tray 1 is the first cassette drawer and that Tray 2 is the bottom cassette drawer.  That is not the case.
