Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Printer worked great for the first few days. Now I am getting pink (magenta) lines across my pages. Cleaning does not help it. A full calibration helps it, but even after that, i am still getting a few pink dots.

I print no more than a few pages at a time. I have never had a job larger than 14 pages. Just started doing it about a week ago.

Any ideas or thoughts?

It's likely still in warranty look on the support page on hp.com and find the contact linked to get to HP tech support, they would be the ones who can send you a replacement cartridge.

You might find an online chat link on the support page I try to use those whenever possible.

Toner comes from toner cartridges.

If there is extra toner on the page it is coming out of a toner cartridge.

Your most likely failure is your magenta toner cartridge.

It makes sense.

I guess i will order a new cartridge and give that a try. Not the solution you want to resort to at $160 -$250 a pop.

Sometimes reality isn't what you want it to be.

If the toner cartridge has not reached its low life point you might be able to get a warranty replacement.

The printer itself has less than 100 pages. The magenta cartridge is the one that came with the printer. How would I address a warranty replacement for just that cartridge?
