Hello,
I have purchased a HP Deskjet 2130 and connected it to my Macbook Pro using a USB cable. However, it is not printing. The printer appears on the task panel for a few seconds then disappears. The print que remains blank. I have restarted my computer, nothing. I have removed and added the printer again, nothing. What should I do? The printer is photocopying- so it is definitely working. Any help?

If the printer is appearing and then disappearing from your Mac then there might be an issue with the USB cable connection. Either the USB port on the Mac, the USB cable or the USB port on the printer could be bad. Try swapping them out and reseating the USB cable on both ends to see if you can impact the problem.
