One of the user in our company complaint that his printer (HP Laserjet Pro MFP M125nw) which is directly connected to the PC via USB, prints the page automatically. He is afriad that it might be printed by the hacker. I have investigated but nothing suspecious found on his PC as we do have endpoint and gateway security in our environment. WIFI on his printer was enabled with paraphase, I have disabled it to avoid any risk in the future.
All I need to know is from where or how I will know that this print was from WIFI or from the printer itself has performed the auto calibration test. I have also uploaded the image that was printed, kindly help me in this regard as I need a solid reason to convience the user.

1) At the product control panel, press the OK button to open the menus.
2) Open the following menus:
● Network Setup
● Wireless Menu
● Wireless Direct
3) Select the Off option, and then press the OK button.
If the Wireless Direct is already disabled, I'd suggest you try updating the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for steps.

Dear Asmita,
Thanks for your reply.
I have already disabled the WIFI Direct. But I need to know the reason behind that. Why such incidence hapenned?
Do belive that it was printing from external source or might be printed by the user mistakenly.
Kindly suggest.
Thanks,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm afraid, there's no way to track the source but as the printer is not connected to a Wi-Fi, it is unlikely the document would be sent from a different PC. It is very much possible the document was printed from the PC it was connected to.
Hope this helps!
