Hi, I'm dealing at my work with this issue. What could be the cause and is this easy to fix? Thanks for helping!

Looks like your Image Transfer Belt (ITB) is covered in magenta toner.  You will want to replace your magenta cartridge as it is likely defective.  Then you will need to clean up the ITB.

Once the cartridge is plugged and toner is cleaned up the print defect will go away.

You need to replace the magenta toner cartridge and need not to worry about the ITB cause M477 will clean it up by itself.

Even if it may not clean up everything which you can see it won't be any problem with your printout.
