LaserJet M404dn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a relatively new LaserJet 404dn, which replaced my old LaserJet P2055dn , which replaced a few earlier models. I've been having an odd problem when printing text created with WordPerfect (yes, I'm older than dirt). An occasional line or portion of a line in a long document will print in what looks like hieroglyphics or maybe ancient Martian (see photo) IMG_1143.JPG— the rest of the document is properly printed. Problem doesn't seem to happen when printing a PDF, nor did it occur with my old printers. I suspect it may be a problem with the printer's memory. Any ideas?

What driver are you using? I would suggest you will have better success with a PCL5 driver over a PCL6 driver.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I can't find that driver on the HP site. Any idea where it might be? Also, should I uninstall the current driver before installing the PCL5?
