Product: laserjet pro 400 m401dn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi Admin,

Im using hp laserjet pro 400 m401dn.

As I know, in printer setting, there are density 1 to 5. where 3 is default.

Im trying to compare between chosing density 1 and 3 or 5 which one is better in saving toner.

May be HP have a related fact or research link about this matter.

HP Recommended

The lower the number the less dense the printing will be and therefore less toner will be used. The other toner saving feature on some units is econo-mode which reduces toner usage even further.
