Where can I find a direct link to install the toolboxfx for a HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni?

Thank you.

To start out sounds like this is a driver issue. I want to start with being sure that the removal of the software and reinstallation happened in the best possible fashion. I want you to follow my steps so I can be sure that we are both starting on the same page.

First if you use a USB cord, make sure to remove it (this is important). Do not plug it back in until the software directs you to. Then go through the Printers and Faxes, Programs and Features and Device Manager folders and insure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. Then as directed, restart the computer.

In the START menu type "%temp%" and press ENTER. Here I want you to press Ctrl+A and hit DELETE. Some of the files will not allow you to delete them, skip those files and delete the majority that allows it.

find and install the FULL FEATURE SOFTWARE if it is available :

Install that and let me know the result!

Have a great day!

Is there any toolbox available for the 1518ni running in 64bit Win7?  Colors are off register, the firmware has been updated, but the firmware "calibration" does no good.  The software page of the HP website for this model has a diagnostic toolfor Win 7 (64), but it doesn't repair anything.

Perform the above mentioned steps and use the following link to the latest software for that printer :

Followed your sequence of instructions.  The link you supplied showed as available software "HP Print View Software" for 32 and 64 bit machines.  Nothing else was listed as software.

I reinstalled my printer at IP 192.168.1.2 using the PCL6 driver.  Using a browser, I logged onto the device at that address.  Instructed it to "calibrate" several times.  Did not bring the colors into alignment.

What do I try next????

Have you checked the Embedded Web Server? You can access that though the IP address using your normal internet browser.

Let me know and I will get right back with you!

The Embedded Web Server is what I got into to do the multiple calibrations, but that did not fix the color registration issue.

I will be out of town for the next two weeks, so I will return to the problem then.

Thanks.

Honestly, if the conditions remain the same after these attempts, I am not sure that that there is much that can be done in the way of resolving this issue. As a cursory question, can you tell me if your printer is plugged into a power strip, surge protector, battery backup, or wall outlet directly?

Let me know and I will get right back in touch with you as soon as possible.

I am having what seems to be the same issue. If I print a test page all is good but when I print from adobe acrobat a black and white text  form it apears to look 3d with a red hue around the black printing. What would cause this to happen?

J'ai commis l'erreur de brancher mon hp color laserjet cp 1518ni sur du 220 v alors qu'il est conçu pour du 110 v. Va t-il encore fonctionner si je le mets sur du 110 v plus tard ?
