hello team please help, i have a problem whit the printer 7730, it was well configured server and remapped ,
when i ping the printer name it works well , and the ip adress when i browsed it i directly login in the hp 7730 interface configuration , but the problem its on the client computer the old printer still there and using konica minolta name , i deleted the old printer and remapped the new one but still have the konica minolta name not hp 7730 and also when i send t a print page test there is an exclamation mark on the printer , but no error message

Power down adn remove the old printer. This will ensure you are not accidentally contacting the old printer from the PC in your troubleshooting.
Then remove all traces of the old printer from the PC.
If the old printer is not going away from the Printers and Scanners folder then search the registry for anything resembling that name. I usually start in the HKCU\Printers\Connections folder. Then scan the rest of the registry for that printer name and remove anything you find. Reboot the machine when you are done to make sure all referances are dropped from memory.
When the PC is clean and clear of any traces to the old printer then reinstall the new one.
