Enterprise M506
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, I am working on an enterprise M506, it was brought back to me cause of the fuser error.  I took the fuser out and cleaned it, put it back, the error still existed.  I put another fuser in and I still got the same error.  So I am thinking it must be the wires.

Can you give me any suggestions?

Thank,

Hi cbritt,

Since you have already replaced the fuser and the issue still persists, then the next step would be to check the connectors between the fuser and the DC controller (J132 and J152). I would recommend to unplug them and replug them. Watch if the wires have any damage on them (I doubt).

Failing this, next thing to do is to replace the fuser power supply, which if I remember correctly is the main power supply as well in this model.

I hope this will help you,

Cheers!
