Hi,
I have a Laserjet M5025 installed in my office which works as a network printer. Till yesterday it was working fine but today it's only giving prints. On the touch screen where I used to get the normal options it now asks me to enter a 'User Pin' which I have never set before. Due to this I am unable to scan or copy.
Please help,
Thanks.

Check with your network administrator as they may have instituted measures to control copies made at the printer. If not then someone in your office probably accessed the web interface and blocked out users.

Go into the web browser and disable pin options. If you can not enter the web browser someone has changed things on you and you may need to perform a NVRAM reset to again have access and you will need to setup the unit again.

Dear Friend,
I had face same issue on HP LJ M5025 & HP LJ CM6040. i have the solution on the same issue.
Please got to web console of your printer. if asking for user name & password, default hp as username & hp for password.
Then go to "User Management" tab.
After that goto Option 2 : Edit or Delete existing users.
( at this point you will find a user name )
select every users you find there, just select all of them, and click on Delete All Users.
then press ok.
This will remove all user password.
Thanking you.
