when I print certain forms/invoices from suppliers I only get the boxes on the forms with no content that should be in the box like their name ,accounts number, amount of invoice.  recently had a new server installed.

The first step is to find out if this is an application error on your PC or not.

To do this you need to confirm the contents of the document from a print preview screen.  Or if one is not available from your printing application then try to export the content to another document format like .PDF or .TIFF.  If your content can survive from one format to another then you have a good guess that the content is making it to the printer, but the printer cannot understand the data correctly.  Otherwise you have an application issue on the PC that needs to be sorted out with the application vendor first.

Most of the times when a form prints but not the contents from within text boxes there is either a driver issue, color consumable issue or an application issue.  Drivers and color consumables are easy to fix.  Try a different print driver language such as those provided by HPs Universal Print Drivers.  Printing in greyscale may also reveal an issue with your consumables.
