Step one is always to uninstall and reinstall with the latest software upgrade for your OS from http://support.hp.com.
If there is any temporary corruption with your current installation a reinstall will clear it up and get you working again. Considering you have a network installation is possible the printers IP address has changed so the communication betweein your PC and the printer is now broken. Easiest way to restore teh connection is a reinstall.

I have had this problem for a couple months (never had trouble before that and I've had the printer several years)--sometimes things work fine, then all of a sudden the jobs just start self-canceling. Sometimes restarting the printer works, other times not. I couldn't find any consistent reason why it would work sometimes and fail (mostly fail) other times. I have a HP LaserJet M252dw with a MacBook Air. My work-around solution has been to load any photos (jpg format--my computer creates photos using jpeg and I have to edit the file names, removing the "e" before loading on the thumb drive) and documents (as single pages in pdf format) onto a USB thumb drive. Insert the thumb drive directly into the printer and set up printing using the USB menu on the printer.
