After each Scan job I keep getting this prompt "do you want to retain setting for your next job" is there away to stop getting this?

Here are the screen shots. From the embedded webserver of the printer go to Security (1)>access control(2)>retain settings(3). If you set to clear settings device will go back to default settings after a job is started.
You may also want to reduce the inactivity timeout which will return the unit to home screen faster when a user walks away.

I dont think there is a way to disable the warning on the control panel of the printer when users complete a scan. The popup is there as a convenience to help save you the trouble of retyping everything on the next job.
If there were a setting that could disable the notification it should be in the same area as the popup message. Some kind of a checkbox that allows users to ignore the popup on future jobs.
Try taking a picture, screenshot or describing what you see the next time the error pops up.

Yes you can set the machine to do this. I am not in front of a machine right now, but will try to screen capture the setting and post back.
