Hello,

I'd like to ask if it's possible to switch between two or more cameras in device mode with Zoom selected as a provider? Hardware setup consists of:

- G7500 codec (v4.4.x)

- TC10 panel

- 2x E60 cameras connected via USB

- Shure P300 as DSP

Camera switching in Zoom mode works properly, both of them are available. When system is switched to device mode only one camera is available and there isn't any option to switch between them from TC10. Is it possible to change this behavior from Poly web interface or Zoom admin portal?

Hello @krasusovva ,

Welcome back to the HP Poly community.

We always ask people to provide all the details of the software used. So far we are not aware of what version of Zoom you are using.

Is this using Poly Device mode aka the TC device swiping left or any Zoom mode BYOD?

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards

@SteffenBaierUK

Currently system is running Zoom Rooms version 6.2.7. I've tried both Zoom BYOD by clicking on bottom right button and Poly Device mode by swiping right border of the TC10 - in both cases only one of cameras was available in connected laptop.

I just couldn't find information about behavior of multiple cameras in BYOD/Device mode anywhere in Poly documentation and I just wonder if it's possible to perform such switching.

Hello @krasusovva ,

From our Video FAQ:

  • Aug 13, 2024 Question: Is there a guide or overview for Supported and compatible peripherals for a G62, G7500, or Poly Studio X family?

    Resolution: Please check >here<

Provider

Maximum number of cameras

Supported camera configurations

Device Mode

4

  • 3 USB cameras and 1 HDCI camera (4 total)

  • 1 IP LLN - Poly Studio E70 only or Poly Studio E60 (1 total)

Connecting additional cameras isn't supported. To connect more than one camera, use the Poly G7500 USB Type-A ports.

  • In addition, you can connect an HDMI input source or HDMI camera to the HDMI-In port for use as a people camera.

For any follow up questions or how to use this I suggest you contact our support organization in your region

Best Regards
