Hello,

in a conference room I am using a CODEC G7500 where an "EAGLE EYE IV USB 7230-60896-001" camera is connected directly to a USB port of the CODEC, and in a conference room I am using a CODEC G7500 in ZOOM mode where an "EAGLE EYE IV USB 7230-60896-001" camera is connected directly to a USB port of the CODEC, and there are two more cameras "EAGLE EYE IV 8200-64350-001" connected to an EXTRON matrix, then the HDCI camera signal enters the CODEC through the EXTRON matrix.

The problem is that the G7500 CODEC doesn't allow me to switch the signal between the two USB or HDCI addresses.

Below you can find a screenshot of the "VIDEO SIGNAL FLOW SCHEMATIC".

If anyone is able to help me I will be happy. Thanks

Hello @CStefanini ,

Welcome to the HP community.

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product, the HP Poly Software, or the Partner application/Software version you are using.

This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come.

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

I would suggest you work with whoever implemented this solution as many factors can influence what you can and what you cannot do or archive. In general "hot plugging" a camera is to my knowledge not supported.

Other volunteers may reply but if an issue like this cannot be resolved via a public community post, please work with our support organization in your region. Details on how to contact us are in my signature

Best regards

Hi Steffen,

thanks for your reply, and below you can find the answers received from the programmer:

We have a problem with camera selection and control Poly G7500 system in Zoom Mode using Extron control processor.

There are 3 cameras in the room - 2 x HDCI and 1 x USB. The switching between the two HDCI cameras is done on the Extron XTP Crosspoint matrix and controlled directly from the Extron control processor.

For Poly Zoom, the cameras are seen as two sources - HDCI and USB, which are switched in the Zoom interface. The problem is that we can't switch them using the Extron control processor.

We are using Poly - G7500 v6.1 extron driver for this. We change the Camera Source Near, the Poly system responds but the camera source does not change in the zoom call.

Poly G7500 - version 4.1.2
