I am trying to test API commands via telnet on a GS like how I used to on an HDX. I turned on telnet and when I telnet in, I get a "psh >" prompt where I can run Polycom shell command but can't run any API commands. I checked the IRM and it just says to telnet in.
I tried this on a GS 700 running 4.1.3 and GS 300 running 4.1.3.2.
I'm sure I am just missing a step somewhere...I appreciate any help!

Don't use Port 23.... The IRM clearly tells you to use Port 24....
Give it a go..
