Hi All,

This is my first post here, we have recently implemented a multi-site Polycom video conferencing solution consisting of 3 HDX 7000's and one HDX 8000.

At this time I have 3 sites online, two HDX 7000's and the 8000.

The HDX 7000 here in my actual office keeps reverting its AES encryption setting to 'Required for All Calls'. I have tried setting it to OFF and then restarting as well as setting it to OFF and letting it go to sleep. Either way the setting is changed.

The other two sites don't seem to behave this way, the setting sticks, which I expect. But the 7000 here reverts everytime to 'Required for All Calls'.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Simon

Hello Simon,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Are you using 3.0.5 on this HDX by any chance and/or LYNC ?

Hi Steffen!

You know what? This looks like it just might be what's happening and I was starting to suspect Lync as the cause!

I have run out of time today to test but you are correct on the software version and our Lync integration.

I will let you know Monday how I get on on.

Cheers

Simon
