Hello,
Does anyone know where we can find a '£' symbol using the remote control? (The system we are using is a HDX 800)
Our system is set to British English (not American English), yet when we press the keyboard on the remote control, the £ is not on the main page nor alternate page. There is a $ though. I have tried typing all the keys, just to make sure they are what they say they are (i.e. %.$,*,~,# etc)
The client we wish to connect to is using encryption code, hence the need for a '£' symbol. We have tried using the web browser to make the call. We can successfully connect the call, but when prompted for the code, the system does not accept it.
We otherwise have no problems entering codes, connecting calls and using the remote interface. Would just be nice to access a £ symbol when needed !!! :0
Any help greatly appreciated,
Lou, Cornwall UK

Hello Lou,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
A pound is an North American term for what we in the UK call the Hash.
Its simply the # which is to the right of the 0 on the remote.
A call or bridge would usually only utilize digits from 0 to 9 and a star * and the Hash / Pound sign #.
