Hello @Sylvain
the smaller remote does not have access to the side menu and therefore you cannot get to the settings.
Just used on its own it can only move up/down/left/right using the navigation pad but you have no way to zoom into a room.
The "original" remote needs to access the menu to be able to move up/down/left/right or zoom in and out.
Best regards

Hello @Sylvain
Welcome to the Poly community!
Please elaborate on your query a bit more. What is the function that you seek to gain from IR Remote when Studio X50 is configured for device mode only?
Also, we recommend using TC8 or Studio X's own remote to control the functions.

All I need to access is the camera functions PTZ & auto on/off. No requirement for the dial pad since the laptop will be used to make/end call.
The POLY Studio USB remote would be less confusing for the users

Hello @Sylvain ,
Welcome to the Poly Community.
I would get this confirmed by our official support organisation but testing this with a Poly Studio X 50 running 3.10.0 with a G7500 paired Bluetooth remote pressing the 3 vertical lines will bring up the side menu:
Using the navigation bar in the middle to the right and down to select Camera Settings will bring up the next menu:
In there you could turn off or on the camera Tracking or use the camera control if tracking is off to use the + and minus to Zoom in and out and the navigation pad to have the other actions
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
