Studio X30 with TC8 Kit

Hi there, I have a little Poly Expansion Microphone attached to a Poly X50 cam via it's CAT5 cable and it has been working fine until lately when it drops connection but once the CAT5 is removed/replaced and then it starts working again until the next meeting. I've changed the cabling making no difference so I wondered if there was a way to update the firmware for it or if not, then how to reset it? It shows as an attached device when I access the X50  via the web portal but that gives me no options to update the mic - any ideas please? Thank you

Hello @PatGriffin ,

Welcome to the HP community.

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product or the Partner application version you use. For example Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms, Poly SIP/H.323 mode etc.

This is important, especially in the future, when someone finds this post in days, months, or years.

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

In the FAQ or the Read 1st section, we remind users why this is important.

The Tag for the post states Studio X30 but this cannot use an extension Microphone so we assume this is a X50?

Also there is no software update for the analog expansion microphone.

Does it just stop working until you power cycle? If yes please open a ticket and reference 5127850771 / PECS-250765

Contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best regards

Thank you Steffen for the information. And it is Microsoft Teams set up.

And I chose the X30 option from the drop-down as there wasn't a X50 option so this was nearest to it.

And yes, it stops working until it's power-cycled.

I'll raise a call as you suggest, thanks again.
