Hi,
We are using a Poly X50 in Device mode with a document camera connected via USB into the unit so that it becomes a selectable camera from the TC8 touch panel.
In Partner (Zoom) mode, this works very well. However, in Device mode when connected to a Windows 11 PC via a USB-C cable, the X50 only outputs the document camera feed. There is no way on the TC8 to select the in-built camera. Is there a way to select the in-built camera using the API or other measures?
Thank you
Mike

Unfortunately, Your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product or the Partner application you are using.
This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come.
For Poly IP phones please provide if this is PVOS, UC Software, or ObiEdition. For current Video products please include the Provider used.
An issue like this cannot be resolved via a public community post so please work with our support organization in your region. Details on how to contact us are in my signature

Hi Mikejbreen
Device Mode is also a Partner App with limited features compared to Poly/Zoom/Teams/Google.
Remember that Camera in Device is changed into a USB device that you can connect to a PC/MAC.
I think that it would difficult to have 2 USB camera's connected with USB and switch between them in Device Mode. Then the PC will have to install 2 camera and see one of them as not in use.
I would suggest to disconnect the document camera before entering Device Mode.
