Hi,

I'm trying to setup a Poly Studio x72 to run Microsoft Teams, but when it starts Teams, I briefly see the Teams sign-in screen with a message to refresh the code, then the screen goes blank. When I restart the device, I briefly see the Teams screen again and a login code before it reboots.

I've tried factory resetting it and upgrading to the latest firmware. If I set the provider to Poly, then it displays fine, but when I switch it back to Microsoft Teams it goes blank again. I'm thinking that the unit is faulty, as we setup two other Polys without encountering this problem.

Welcome to the HP community.

 

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product or the exact Partner application version you use.

 

This is important, especially in the future, when someone finds this post in days, months, or years.

 

Please do not simply edit the original post, but reply with the versions.

 

In the FAQ or the Read 1st section, we remind users why this is important.

 

In addition, are all the Poly Studio X72 connected to the same type of screen? Do they all have a location set to provide the correct PAL or NTSC signal to the screen?

 

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Try a different HDMI port on the Poly and on the TV to see if that makes any difference.

StudioX72: 4.6.2-460046

Poly Studio E70: 1.14.2.582031

Microsoft Teams: 1449/1.0.96.2025325609

 

I've set the location to the right country.

Hi,

We enabled Wi-Fi wheeled it into another room with a TV and connected to that one and Teams displayed OK and we were able to complete registration. We returned it to the meeting room, reconnected the LAN and its screen and it continued to work, so it's all good now.
