The G7500 should actually arrive at the end of the month. It's been on order since before January.
My vendor said that almost any new equipment ordered now would not arrive till roughly January next year. Might just be for g7500's or it could be everything. We want to get 3 more X50's to replace those Mercury units. They are old and do not have all the versatility that we are looking for.

I'm having this problem w/ our new x50, which we hoped to use in device mode only (instead of buying a TC8). I thought it would be plug and play. Using a new MacBook Air. I bought the same cables as you listed and was so hopeful it'd work. But no dice. Very frustrating. Why doesn't Poly just have a dedicated information page about EXACTLY what is required to use the x50 in device mode w/ laptops?

Hello @mpwakeford ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Checking this >here< make things pretty clear

  • USB-C on the G7500 end to USB A or C on the PC End
  • HDMI cable on both ends

The above should consider the physical limitations of both connections so extenders should be considered. Usually, the release notes contain this additional information/
