I have a poly x50 that gets stuck in boot mode.  I factory reset and pair the TC8, then all I get is a weird Ip address in DHCP mode.

 

My laptop gets 1 address and the poly gets a different one from the same little 8 port POE switch.

 

My laptop gets the correct one

Welcome to the HP community.

 

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product you use. 

 

In addition we do not know if this is a brand new unit or if this unit worked before and just now started to do this.

 

This is important, especially in the future, when someone finds this post in days, months, or years.

 

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

 

In the FAQ or the Read 1st section, we remind users why this is important.

 

You state you factory restored this, did you use the Pin hole method?

 

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.
