HP Recommended

I have a couple of these Polycom HDX 8000 HD units that I've had to factory reset, and so they've reverted back to the base firmware level. These are obviously out of support, but there was an article I found on Poly's KB (now on the HP site) that explained how you could find the applicable licence key(s) for the device. See here.

 

However, it appears with the move to doing things in the HP support centre, these options are not available anymore. As a result, I don't seem to be able to recover the licence keys for these devices. They are out of support now, but are still completely usable H.323/SIP endpoints. I'd like to be able to load the firmware version they are entitled to on to them.

 

I've attempted using the serial numbers to register them on the HP site, but the serials aren't recognised, and the HDX-series does not appear in the product options - I assume due to them no longer being in support.

 

How can I find the licence keys for these devices?
