Hi All

 

We have a polycom studio E70 that is having intermittant, but consistent, issues where it will go to sleep and the privacy shutters will close. But it does not wake back up, the camera will remain non-functional until the teams MTR PC is rebooted or the USB cable is disconnected and reconnected, or sometimes both.

 

I have:

- Updated firmware to latest version (currently v 1.10.1-530003)

- Disabled power saving on all USB ports in device manager on the MTR PC

- Disabled all sleep settings on the PC

 

I cannot find anywhere in Poly Lens where I can manage sleep settings for the camera.

 

Has anyone experienced this, and if so - how did you resolve it? It's causing a lot of grief as it always seems to be dead when the execs need to be in that room 😕

welcome to the HP Poly community.

 

  • Which MTR PC? Lenovo, Dell or HP?
  • Is the USB cable used between the camera and the MTR within the USB spec or any long cable or extender used?

It's a lenovo PC, using the polycom USB-A to USB-C cable that came with the unit
