I have a hdx 7000 polycom system in my classroom. I am able to connect to other polycom users. However, I would also like to be able to use the system with some of our partner schools who have access only to skype and google video calling. Is it possible to call a skype or google number through the hdx 7000 and video conference?

Hello Baskin,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
The HDX only supports LYNC 2010 and LYNC 2013 and does not support Skype for Business and / or Office365.
Neither does it support Google calls as we only support standardized calls like H.323 and SIP

Thank you for your previous reply,
Is there any way to send an invitation or code to a nonpolycom user that would allow them to connect to the polyom server to conference like "go to meeting" has with a polycom user? Or is it just through lync that they can connect.
Thank you in advance

Hello Baskin,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
Our OneTouchDial solution lets connect older endpoints to newer Skype for Business meetings.
Please work with a Polycom reseller as your HDX can also utilize an older LYNC setup with a federation to Skype for Business.
