Is it possible to share content connected to via the USB (not the micro USB) port on the RealPresence Touch? The system is paired with a RealPresence Group 500 unit. If so is there some settings to enable this? I would like to be able to plug a USB stick into the RP Touch control and share content to the call.
I have tried with jpg, pdf, ppt files but the RP touch panel shows no content.
Do I have to connect the USB to the Group 500 unit for this functionalitly?
regards, Brendan

The proper process for introducing a Feature Enhancement (FE) to Polycom is to request your Polycom SE do that. They will need a business case so they may need to better understand your application and the implications of the FE on your requirements. With FEs please explain the use case (what you want to be able to do), let us work with you on figuring out the 'how'.
Thanks.

Currently the USB port on the side of the RPT is for logging and upgrades only. So yes a feature request is required. However to elorbrate on the function. When you connect the RPT to a laptop using the supplied USB-mini cable the RPT acts like a USB drive and has the People+Content IP app installed which you find in My Computer and launch.
