Hello,

 

We have a HDX 7000 with the basic microphone setup.

 

We have received a Soundstation IP 7000 now that we want to integrate with the HDX.

 

All the settings are there in the IP 7000, it boots properly and then states the following "updating initial configuration" and basicly nothing happens afterwards.

We already updated the firmware to the latest version but no result.

Any idea's what the next step is to troubleshoot this issue?

What do you class as the latest Software for the SSIP7000 and what Software are you running on the HDX?

so this morning it was not stuck on initial configuration anymore. but a different problem came up in its place

 

the version on the ip 7000 is 5.0.1.10553

 

this is what happens when i run a local tftp server

 

First i get

could not download 0004f2e1e24a.cfg

 

followed by

 

error application is not present

 

if i go through downloads.polycom.com/voice/IP7000 i get

 

connecting to >

 

Updating >

 

error application is not present >

 

reboot

the VoIP Section holds a few FAQ post's:

 

Oct 7, 2011 Question: I get the error Message "error loading 00xxxxxxxxxx.cfg" and then Phone continues to reboot

Resolution: Please check => here <=

 

and

 

Sep 27, 2012 QuestionI get the error Message “application not present” on my phones screen

Resolution: Please check => here <=

 

Above simply indicates that someone has formatted the file system and the Phone now no longer has it's software installed.

 

You will need to setup an Provisioning Server:

The Software version you posted is the Updater and is used since UCS 4.0.0

 

I would advise either to follow up within the VoIP section based on the advise given or raise this via your Polycom reseller.

 

The Phone simply needs to get it's software installed.

 

Please ensure that you are using the latest HDX 3.0.5 when using the SSIP running UCS 4.x.x
