Dear all,

I am trying to reuse our Poly Trio 8800 with our X50s and X70s as additional microphones.

I have been reading the below:

https://docs.poly.com/en-US/bundle/polypartnermode-ag-current/page/using-poly-trio-microphones.html

However I am not able to make it work after pairing the Trio 8800s with our X50s/X70s. If I start a meeting, the Trio shows it's in a call but the mics are not working, only the internal X50/X70 microphones are in use.

I have made sure the "Enable Poly Trio Audio (Speakers and Microphones)" option is enabled in the X50/X70 web console.

I have set the Trio 8800 in MS Teams mode and have signed in with the same room account as the X50/X70. This is the way it's supposed to work, right?

I have also tested the USB Audio mode and it does work, but I don't want to use the speaker of the Trio - just the microphones.

Can someone assist? Am I setting this up correctly or is there any other way?

The X50/X70 are fully updated (as of today), and the Trio is on firmware 5.9.6.3432/Teams 1449/1.0.94.2020051601.

Thanks.

Hello @Manu_C ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

The Trio must be in device mode to be paired or it will not work.

Thanks Steffen.

I have set the Trio in Device mode and followed the instructions, however the X70 does not see any device to pair - under Available Devices there's nothing, and Enable New Device Auto-Pairing is ticked. Tried unticking and ticking it again but no change.

In the Trio, the red lights are blinking when tapping the Pair Button but the X70 does not find it.

Both the Trio and the X70 are in the same subnet, they should see each other, correct?

Thanks.
