Poly X 50 Studio

Hello,

have a problem with the Miracast or Airplay. When we start Miracast on a Windows 11 device, it finds the Poly. I can also connect (without security code). The connection is established. But on the display which is connected to the Poly, nothing is visible. It does not react. The same with SmartView on an Android mobile phone or Airplay. All devices say they are connected, but nothing can be seen on the screen.

If you activate the security code, the client also asks for the code. However, nothing is displayed on the Poly.

Currently installed Softwareversion;: 3.12.0-366027

Also, after a Reboot the stettings/checkbox for Aireplay and Miracast is always disabeld.

After resetting to factory settings, it worked until Microsoft Teams was selected as the provider.

My theory is that the Teams application overlays the Miracast/Airplay screen so that it is connected but faded by Teams.

Update: After upgrading to 4.1.2-388101, the option to activate Miracast/Airplay is no longer available after installing the Teams app.

Hello @bpc80 ,

welcome to the HP Poly community.

Mircast or Airplay via the Web Interface is only supported in PolyOS Poly Provider mode.

Best Regards
