Studio X50 with TC8 Kit

I received my first of several Studio X50 with TC8's and the software looks to be pretty out of date. I am seeing an issue where the TC8 will all of a sudden be unable to pair with the X50 and then on the X50 it will display "Unable to Fetch Calendar".

 

After a few minutes everything will start working. This will continue to happen every 5-10 minutes.

 

My initial thought is the software seems to be out of date so I wanted to update both devices.

 

X50 - I get a Unable to access the provided URL

TC8 - I get a  "The software version is not found"

 

Two questions.

-Is it recommended to update from the versions I am on shown below?

-The solution I found for the "The software version is not found" can be found in the link below and references adding a string to the web.config but I cannot find any reference to a web.config in documentation and where that can be accessed.

TC8: Current Version: 3.12.0-210716

X50: Current Version: 3.12.0-366027

Answer: Please ensure to check >here< prior to updating the firmware.

 

The above article covers where we discovered an issue when updating out-of-sync software version devices as this could render the TC8 to become faulty. Follow the link above and get to the right level.
