We have come across an interesting finding. An X50 freezes everytime upon reboot / restart. Updated to the latest firmware still yielding no luck. Need to unplug all cables including USB/HDMI and power off and on again. We RMA'ed the first device and the second device exhibits the same symptom. The device also freezes after about 48 hours of operation.
Turns out it was due to the USB-C to USB-A cable (brand new, after market, just 2m in length) despite it is not connecting to any device. Swapped the cable and tested reboot / restart with and without connecting to device. Problem solved and system stable so far.

Hello
We are experiencing the same issue on two X50 connected with a startech USB-C docking station. It is working during some days and then it hangs and impossible to boot it (no LED indicator after unplug/plug power supply). After disconnect of the USB-C it boots again.
We have a third one that is working correctly.
Do you have found the real reason for that behaviour ?
It seems not reasonable to try switching an USB-C dock or cable until found the one that is not generating that kind of issue.
Best regards
Kevin
