I can connect via USB but when I set up wireless connection through the latest version o fthe utility it says Device not reachable.
It worked perfectly for the past 2 years but has now stopped working - Both the Mac and printer are connected to the same router they have been for years - why has it now stopped working wiorelessly?

Hi,
Try removing the printer and then re-adding it by opening the preferences tab and then selecting "printers & scanners".
From there, click the minus sign under the printer icon to remove the printer and then re-add it using the plus sign.
This often helps if you are experienceing printer offline issues regularly.
If you still can't find the printer, I would try the steps with the usb connected and if a wireless connection is established, then remove it.
If the issue persists, restart your mac and try again and if this doesn't help, then restart your router also.

Hi and thank you for the response - unfortunately it didn't work.
I have removed and added the printer several times with and without the USB attached. I have also rebooted the router and the mac and the printer several times. Still the Mac can't pick up the printer wirelessly.
One thing I did notice is that my other devices - Ipads can see the printer perfectly and they print to it without issues - Only the Mac that can't see it.
I have also now carried out a semi-full reset via the secret service menu (I looked on youtube) but still exactly the same message. Both the Mac and the printer are definately connected to the same network
I have a BTHomeHub 5 router.
Thanks
