None of my Apple devices iPhone 6s 8 iPad Pro can air print to the printer now; it’s states no air printers found I successfully did an e-print. However, when I went onto the website it states I have no printers set up and request a claim code. According to your website the claim code should be (edited) but it will not accept it . One why can I know longer air print directly from my Apple devices to the printer and two how do I add a printer to the website when I don’t have a claim code.

Hi,

If you cannot access the printer home page there is a connectivity issue, the devices are not even accessible through the network.

Try restarting your router and allow it 2 minutes, next restart the extended too and wait for two minutes, finally restart the printer and check if you may see any difference.

If the same persists try moving the devices closer to the router see if you may then access the printer homepage or use AirPrint, the issue may be related with the router, may be related with the access point and therefore this would be the first thing to try and get a better understanding which device breaks the connectivity...

Hi,

Regarding AirPrint please try rebooting the router and allow it 2-3 minute to start, then restart the printer and try again.

If the same persists please try steps 4 and 5 below a try and check for any difference:

https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c05737475

For the ePrint issue, a Claim code is only valid for 24 hours, from the HP ePrint icon on the printer select Settings and then Remove Web Services, confirm any prompt.

Next re-enable Web Services and an information sheet with a valid claim code will be printed.

Shloil,

Should have mentioned this in the beginning but the network is on a TP Link extender (printer is upstairs in the office with modem/ router downstairs thus all Internet upstairs is via the dual 2k/5k extender, but I have been able to Air print with Iphones and Ipad for the entire year till just now. And that is regardless of whether I slect the same wirless channel the printer is on. Printer is on the 2K. Only the HP Laptop and Asus laptop still print, and regardless of what wirless channel they are on extended or main channels doesn't matter. Now unless I use HP connect on the Apple products and email the print job to the printer and that works, but sucks when printing webpages becuase you have to save them to phone or web and typically lose all formatting.

First I tried a reboot as you suggested, then went on to steps 4 and 5. It's already on IPv4.  For step 5 "Turning off Internet Printing Protocal over https (ipps)"  I cannot connect to the http 192.168.1.18 it gives me connection error no matter what explorer I use Chrome, IE,  Microsoft Edge etc. so no way to do step 5. Please help.

Turned out the problem was the printer was set for IPv4 and I PV6 this did not show when I looked it up on my Windows laptop however when opening up the IP address on the iPhone I saw that the settings were incorrect and selected IPv4 only now everything works
