Product: Officejet 5740

Cannot find the “additional preferences” tab on the HPSmart app - “My Printers” - which would enable for example Duplex printing. Therefore am condemned - when using ePrinting - to waste tons of paper by only being able to print single-sided. I have an HP OfficeJet 5740. Is that not an “eligible” printer?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-officejet-5740-e-all-in-one-printer-se...


Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print (duplex) and scan.

Have downloaded and installed Full Features as you suggested. Still no “additional preferences” tab on my ePrint “My Printers” page.
